Hi,
In my model, I have a cylinder on which I apply some temperature loads, some force loads and a torque. I run the study and there are a few things I don't understand.
My cylinder relays on 4 small cylinders that can rotate.
I don't understand why I obtain these results:
I thoought it could be because it is rotating, but all of them are rotating and there is only one which is doing that.
Also, the thermal expansion that produces is not what it should be.
If I do not insert any friction coefficient, the contact between two faces is as if it was "slippery"?
Thanks in advance
Hi Vicente,
Did you got any Waring like "Large Displacement"?. If you got so kindly go to study properties and select Soft spring to stabilize the model option to Stabilize the model by applying external stiffness. Then you can find that where your boundary condition or contact or loading not properly applied. Then correct that one and remove soft spring option and run the simulation. Else post your model using pack and go. we will look at your problem in depth. Thanks
