i'm going to try with a quadro 2000 in few days...
with previous version of solidworks the only problem with graphic card was the real view effect...
It has been reported as SPR 833770: Very slow response while using dimensions with tolerance in SolidWorks 2015 SP0
Hope to be fixed in next SP.
we need to wait...
many thanks to all!!
Same problem here.
Fresh Install windows 8.1 pro X64 / Fresh Install SW2015
Dell Precision M4800.
Problem starts with FIT tolerances: pull down menu takes 10 secs to load.
Solidworks becomes unresponsive for a few second. After that every newly added dimension or a change to existing dimensions,
Solidworks seems to "freeze" for a few seconds. Detailing 2d drawings therefore take hours longer then before.
I had something similar. Check units and make sure it is rounding as you intend for it to. I believe in SolidWorks 2015 there is some control given you over the process, when working with fractional dimensions, unlike 2014
Thank you for the link. Too bad it does not fix my problem in Windows 8.1.
I checked it for Windows 7 and this solution works indeed.
I just downloaded the SP1 EV and checked if this problem remains. The answer is NO, it is resolved. I didn't change anything else on my system rather than installing only SP1 EV.
