Hi,
I am trying to find out a way that the Design Table picks up the formulas from the part I created automaticly.
also if I change dimensions on Design Table ,the part gets updated to new dimension as well.
Thanks
Alex

Thank you John,
I saw that linked last night but I couldn't figure it out how to get it to work. it coverts every dimension to Zero and I get zero geometry error.
this is what i did:
Draw a square and give one dimension and then create design table and do exactly how the picture is on the link you sent but when I close the Table it updates the sketch and I get the errors.
SolidWorks does not automatically pick up your equation references when it creates a design table.
Perhaps that would make a good enhancement request.
At present, your options are to add your equations to the design table manually (you can export your equations to a text file to make them easier to copy and paste) or to use the SolidWorks and Excel API's to scan the model for equations and replicate them in Excel.
Here's the help topic on specifying equations in the design table:

One suggestion, save a copy of your design table and edit that; and before inserting it into your model. If you udpate a design table with a syntax error, SolidWorks has a tendency to truncate everything after the error-hosing the design table. Editing the excel spreadsheet seperately ensures that you have a back-up of the design table to edit.
