Hello
I am new to solidworks so sorry for my ignorance
I want to calculate how long it takes to a liquid inside a tank to cool down to room temperature
the hot liquid is in the inner tank and its being cooled by water in the outer tank in the image.
I looked for tutorials but i couldn´t find any that does this problem.
In the flowsimulation i establish boundaries, liquid temperature and materials but i can´t establish goals that solve my problem.
If anyone could help or show me a tutorial i would apriciate.
sorry for the english
this should be possible with thermal analysis in sim pro or flow simulation transient analysis
both have tutorials on transient thermal that should help you, with sim pro you need to actually model the fluid
in flow simulation it will fill both with fluid automatically assuming your volumes are closed
and then make sure to uncheck the exclude options otherwise it won't fill them
set your initial conditions for both simulations
set the length of your simulations and run
