I used to have blue parts in my assembly this morning, and now they're gone. If I go looking for it the blue is still there but I can't see it.
Maybe there is an override in the assembly in the top of the "Feature Manager Design Tree", see image. Atleast if I added color there all the colors in my assembly went away.
The part is supposed to be blue in the assembly level. Have you tried hitting ctrl+q ?
I've tried that, and re-starting SW several times.
try changing it to another color and then back to blue.
That doesn't work. I've tried adding color to it, removing the original and adding new, opening the part and adding color. Quitting SW and re-starting, changing to RealView and back. I'm out of ideas.
Are you able to change the color of other parts in that assembly? If you put the part into a new assembly, are you able to change the color within that new assembly?
I can't change any color anymore. One thing that I noticed is this morning a decal was black, as it normally is, but now I see the decal, but no color on the parts. The decal has color from the tif graphic it uses. I suppose I should do yet another reboot to see if it helps.
Could be graphic card driver related. Have you checked if you are using the supported one for your graphic card ?
I've been using the same card (ATI FirePro V4800) for over three years now, and it's on the list.
I loaded up another copy from a different directory, and the colors come back, so I think it's in the assembly file somewhere.
Yes, that was it. There was a medium gloss white at the top for some reason. I have my colors back.
