Faint lines/facets showing in transparent parts

My office just upgraded to Solidworks 2014, and now anytime I make parts transparent (whether in Part mode or Assembly mode), there are faint lines drawn between all of the vertices of the part. I have attached an example part and some screenshots.

Anyone have any idea what's going on? What settings can I change to fix this?

I am on Windows 7 with an NVIDIA Quadro K4000, with driver version 331.82 (just updated the driver yesterday, but it was a problem before the update, too). Using Solidworks 2014 SP 4.0.

Before anyone makes a suggestion, they will likely want to know if you are using an approved graphic card and whether it is an approved driver being used for it.

To know which drivers you should be using, you will also need to post your computer vendor (e.g. Hewlett-Packard), model number (e.g. Z420 Workstation) and OS architecture (32 bit or 64 bit). The correct drivers to use are vendor/model/SW Version/OS specific.

I'm still having these issues with the display of transparent parts. My computer's specs haven't changed at all since the original post.

One idea I tried was to turn off the "High quality" transparency for both normal view and dynamic view mode, on the Performance options page. While this makes the facet lines fainter, they are still definitely there; and now the part is hardly visible in the assembly (i.e., the part's surfaces are much more transparent than in HQ mode). Not a fix.

Any advice?

Scratch that! I found the solution!

In the NVIDIA control panel, I turned up the Antialiasing - Transparency setting to 4x supersampling. But this didn't work until I also clicked "Add" and selected Solidworks 2014 in the program list. It seems that these special settings were only being applied to Solidworks 2013 on this computer.

I'm still not 100% certain that this is a complete fix, but it seems like it might be.
