Can anyone help me how to circular-pattern a slot that the height of the slot will follow the reference helix ( I attache the image of the model), FYI it's easily done in NX
One way is to:
-Edit Circular-Pattern and check the "Instances to Vary" option.
-For "Choose Feature dimensions to vary in Direction 1" select (in the graphics area) the dimension you want to vary.
-Come back to the PropertyManager and under "Increment" type in the value that best fits the helix curve.
First I tried it with Curve-Driven-Pattern, but the "Instances to Vary" option isn't available there.
