Hello everyone.
I am new to using weldments in Solidworks. So here goes. I have a weldment it is made up of 20 pieces. When originally designed and detailed 4 pieces were identical. After it was revised and now those 4 pieces are no longer the same length. The cut list did not update when sketch was revised. How do I fix this next time?

You shouldn't need to delete the cut list in the drawing after updating the model, although it may take a Ctrl+Q rebuild to get it to update.
If you change the positions of your cut list folders in the part and want the cut list to show them sorted in that order then you have to delete and recreate the cut list table.

I didn't know that, and it never occurred to me to sort the folders in the part. I click and drag rows in the cut list in my drawing if needed.

so the cut list is a snap shot not dynamic like a bom?
The properties are automatically updated but the sorting is not.
In addition to the "update" suggestions above, make sure you have EVERY file in the chain open and in memory. If all you have is the part file and a drawing file then no worries. If you have the weldment part file and each weld body exported into a new part you need to activate each file in turn and perform a CTRL-Q rebuild to work the updates through. At least this is the case in SW2013 and earlier versions.
