I've been trying to render a part with Chain Link Steel appearance and nothing happens, only a bad render of the part, But I can see the appearance in RealView
Please, what can be the problem?.

From my brief test with that appearance it looks like the scaling that shows up in RealView is different than the scaling when it actually renders. The scaling with RealView turned off looks correct (matches the render). Here is what my test looks like with RealView vs. the render.
And here is with RealView off.
So I would guess that you need to adjust the scale of the appearance, and do it with RealView turned off to see what it will actually look like.
