We have set up an Engineering change request form where the template datacard appears and allows people to populate the required information. Once complete the file is then automatically checked into the vault and sent to a workflow for review.
If the person has any additional information, e.g. photos or supporting documentation, they then need to goto the Change request location, add the additional files to the vault, check them out and paste as a reference to the ECR document then check it back in. This isn't really ideal in most situations.
It would be handy if there was and "upload file" option in the datacard editor that could automatically carry out all the above where it allows the user to add the file to the same location, link the files and automatically check them in.
