Add a fixed constraint but include translation distance.
Run the analysis and then right click on the fixed constraint (or something like that - I am working from memory).

remember that in solidworks simulation there are 2 ways to analyze a part
input a force > get displacement
input a displacement > get a force
in 2015 there is actually a prescribed displacement "load" to make it more clear how to do the second
My suggestion is to run your analysis, right-click on "Results"; select "List Result Force..."; choose the surface of interest (you might need to split a surface to get something meaningful); check the box in the "Display Options" to "Display Resultant Forces"; then click on the "Update" button in the Selection box. It should list the xyz components and show the magnitude and direction. I've had good luck with this to confirm shear forces on a bolt so it seems to work on cylindrical surfaces just as well.

otherwise reaction forces are only at restraints
