Hello, half an hour ago I was able to flatten this detail. Then I changed the highlighted length from 155 to 175 and I am now totally unable to flatten it. Can anybody tell me why so and what can be done?

your flatten faces are in suppressed.
when you unsuppressed them everything will be ok
Thank you Tomasz, I'm obviously an idiot. But I'm wondering what happened after I never personally suppressed them.
you're definitely not an idiot :-)
that happens sometimes that in sheet metal flats is suppressing self.
