How to set the position of a suppressed feature to an obviously bogus value?

We use a design table to control the position of holes in an extruded part.  The number and position of the holes varies from part to part.  Currently our table has 50 holes and values to control position and suppression state.  It would be nice if suppressed features were more obvious.  We have tried to set the position as <blank> or a 0 but the 0 likes to reverse the direction of the next part's dimension and blank turns into a 0 anyway.  If anyone knows a better way to accomplish this it would be great.
