I have a cylindrical object that needs an engraved feature on the surface. The object has been fully modeled and the scales have been drawn in a sketch, that is composed of lines and characters . The wrap function will not work because the features in the sketch by virtue of their function cannot be closed. I don't want to actually create the engraved feature on the model, I simply want the paths projected on to the surface in the correct position. I have seen similar questions to this question, but no suitable answer. It seems like it should be a straightforward process.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
