Help me to knw hw can v use Penetrate in Pipe Routing.
Hello Deepak,
Thx fr ur kind Reply
How can i knw the penetration is done as i am unable to insert weldolet at Pentration point.
Help Me..
You can't put a weldolet on a penetration point.
A penetration is for when you just have pipe on pipe.
Using a weldolet means that you use a fitting which adheres to it's own rules. See standard library that comes with Solidworks routing.
Peter
Penetration = a branch that is smaller or equal to the main route without using a fitting
e.g.: main route 6" whereupon you have a branch of 2" that connects to it
you can only use the penetrate command though when the 3dsketch of the branch actually connects to the 3Dsketch line of the main route.
In other words, the centerline of the branch as well as the main line have to be in the same plane.
Tell us what you want to do or what you would like to accomplish and we'll try to explain if it's possible and if so how to get it.
Nishal,
What is it that you don't understand about it ?
