I have a sheet metal body imported into my part. I sketched the profile of the part on the front plane and offset it to 1/2 of the thickness of the metal. I then applied a driven dimension of the profile length.

I created a new sketch of a rectangle that needs the length to be the same length as the profile length from sketch 1.

I would have done this with sheet metal but SW can't handle the geometry involved.

Please help.
