I'm doing some explanatory exploded views for assemblies and want the topic parts to be shaded so as to be obvious within the view.  Any way to do this?

Attached is my "poor" attempt at using hatching, but you'll get the idea of what I'm trying to do.  Hatching won't include rounded or filleted surfaces.
