Hi Deepak Gupta
The example of Wrap feature shows that it works on cylindrical surface. Do you know how to use it on spherical surface, step by step?
Thanks.
Hi Jamil,
Is the extrude from Flat surface to spherical surface? Do you know how to do it, step by step?
Thanks.
The exact steps will depend on where you want the text on the sphere. If you want just a small amount of text directly on top of the sphere, then you can start a sketch on the bottom flat face of the sphere. In that sketch draw the text you want, you might need to flip the orientation of the text so it looks right when viewed from above.
Then initiate an Extruded Boss, and in Direction 1, change "Blind" to "Offset From Surface", and then select the spherical face and enter the offset (how thick you want the letters).
Then click OK. If nothing shows up, try editing the feature and checking the box for "Reverse offset". That should do it.
Use Wrap feature under Insert > Feature > Wrap
OR
In the extrude/cut extrude try offset from surface.
