I just got done installing SP3 and now SW will not run
properly. I get a dialog box with the title "server
busy". The message in the dialog box reads..
"This action cannot be completed because the other program isbusy. Choose "switch to" activate the busy programand correct the problem."
There is nothing to switch to and it totally locks SW up. Ineed to close SW out using the task manager and acutally kill theprocess. Right now I'm totally dead in the water. Doesanyone have any ideas whats going on?
thanks
Joe

I've seen this message with SolidWorks and other programs.
If I recall correctly, it's like if a dialog box needs attention but is not displayed. Did you restarted after the install? Even if it does not asks to, it's sometimes necessary to complete the installation.
If it won't do, try to open the task manager before opening SolidWorks and look at what other process is started beside SolidWorks and then kill it. It think it's usually a MSI that is trying to register some stuff.
Might not be very helpfull... But if nobody else has a better answer.
