I have a completly detailed drawing but the customer only wants a portion of it in jpeg format. It would be great if I could window around what I need and somehow create a jpg from that.
You can use the snippet tool that comes with win7,
or you can hit "print Screen" or the keyboard or
image capture in SW then paste it into paint.
Thanks Frank. I have never heard of the snippet tool. It does just what I had hoped I could do. My alternative was save the entire drawing as a jpg, open it in paint, crop what I need, and resave. Here I can save just the crop.
Thanks again- Works great.
I use "PrtScrn" and MS Paint.. Specifically, Ctrl-Alt-Shift-PrtScrn. I have a hotkey for MS Paint, so I can open it with a Ctrl-Alt-P. Makes fast work of screen capture.
