With the assistance of API help and others, I can rotate a part in an assembly without using animation. I desire to animate using a macro because I wish to tie the animation to a model that includes behavior that I cannot duplicate in motion.
Unfortunately, the gear mates are not obeyed during this time. This issue is currently with SolidWorks support, but I thought it might be possible that someone from the larger audience knows how to fix this.
