hello, so im working on a assembly file that also has a few other sub-assemblys inside of it. yesterday i went to go open one of the sub-assy's and solidworks told me the file is already in use, by ME. i havent been able to figure this out. i know these parts are not open and ive even closed and reopened solidworks to clear the ram but nothing helps. i went to file > find references and a bunch of the parts in my assy are all read only as if someone else is using all of them. another thing to point out. we just got solidworks recently and im the only user at this point so i really have no idea. can anyone lend a hand please?!?! is there anyway to do a save as over the original to overwrite it, i just dont wanna have to redo all the work i put into this thing.
