the best way is to unregister it
c:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\RegAsm.exe [DLLFILE] /unregister
32 bit remove the 64 from Framework64
the v4.0.30319 need to the version of .NET you have
this is a better because there are a lot of place it add to the register not just ne the SolidWorks keys
But if you nee it where are the location to remove so it will not show up in SolidWorks

I was able to manually delete the registry keys and remove the addin.
I really didnt understand the first part of your answer but the second part got the job done!

in the registry there are other keys that are create when creating an add-in if you take your GUID and search the in the registry you will find more key
unregister it is a way to keep the registry clean and can prevent conflicts
I double clicked the exe you specified what next?
