I got stuck again,
I am trying to use the surfacing features and eventually create a solid part from these lines but I can't.
the result should look like a Mango fruit cut in half ( sort of )
The problem you had may just be related to where you clicked to select the curves. Try a new boundary surface and for direction one select the 3 lines in the order and locations I show below, for direction 2 select the one on the bottom.
Does this help?
Thank you very much Mukesh,
Unfortunately I have SW2012 .
what version is yours?, I couldn't open it
Try a boundary Surface. For the first direction pick one side, then the top, then the other side. For the second direction pick the cross curve. I used the selection manager > select group to select each side separately, or you could break it into two sketches.
Oh yeah and then cover the bottom with a surface plane or fill surface and knit. This is the same as Mukesh's KP_surface1.
Thank you Jamile for your reply,
for some reason I cant do that on this part I am attaching.
it is driving me crazy.
I would appreciate if you could take a look at it
Thank you very much Jamil, it worked.
I got to find a detail surfacing tutorial .
How can you select the lines separately from that example file? For some reason I cannot do it? I always selects the whole sketch
Right click and pick Selection Filter, then press the button for Select Group (the three pointers), then you can pick whatever entities you want to be part of the selection. When you are done and click check it will show in the selection area as Open Group.
I dont know what I am doing wrong. When I select the three lines and try to press ok it only says this:
Geesh now I got it. I need to "check" the selection between every line. So I dont select three lines at once..
