who has ever found what they are looking for in the knowledge base? Anytime i went there i would get more results than i had time to read threw. I just send an e-mail to the var! The let me know about the know issues. lots faster and more efficient for me.
I can normally find what I'm looking for with a decent amount of speed. Heck I've made something of a habit of getting SPR numbers out of the KB for people when they raise an issue in the forum.
David, I agree, it is as friendly as a cornered rat, but I can usually find what I want eventually - try several different search strings and see what comes up is my approach!
I do endorse the button on the forum, though. I frequently spend almost as long finding and logging into the KB as I do searching it...
I must need more practice.

For what it's worth with the latest KB update you can now directly bookmark in to the search page (which I struggled to do with previous iterations) so it's slightly less onerous to get there now. I have it as one of my toolbar shortcuts (separate links for both KB search and ER search is handy too).
That is why I leave it to the pros. I get paid to make the lines and circles not research why I cant make them. Here is fun between opening and closing files, or change of projects, and a bit of a sanity check
