How can I upgrade my 2013 solidworks software to 2014 version?
If you're still on subscription, you can download SW2014 from the SolidWorks website. If you're not, then you can't.
@Glenn. Please throw more light. How do you mean "still on subscription"?
For better clarification, I have been using the student's version since 2012. But right now I can't work with it because it has refused to open.
Please, what do you think?
To get the full (non-student) version of SolidWorks, you will need to go through a Value Added Reseller. You pay a yearly fee, which puts you "on subscription" for a year. That gives you access to all new versions and service packs that are issued during that 12 month period. I'm not very familiar with the requirements for getting a student version. Maybe someone else can help.
Are you still a student using the student version? If so, you should be able to get the information you need from your instructor. If you're no longer a student, I suspect that would be why you can't upgrade.
