When asking flow simulation to use humidity is it possible to use something other than water. If yes how is this done?
good question. straight from the help it says it should be possible with a gas if you want humidity in other carrier fluids.
To use the relative humidity option, select Humidity option either in Wizard or in the General Settings window. This check box is available only if the current fluid type is set to Gases. If this option is selected, the water vapor is added to the specified mixture of gases.
could you elaborate on your application that you want the humidity to be something other than water vapor?
This is in an underground heat exchanger using a porous medium (fragmented rock)
In the wizrd I'm selecting air but when I tick humidity there seems to be no option to change this from water to the fluid i wish to use?
what fluid are you wanting to use?
can you give me a reference where humidity is not water? are you sure you don't just want a fluid mixture?
I'm using a fluid mixture now
