I am having massive issues with the animation of an anchor getting drilled into the ground. The only restriction in the anchor is an advanced screw mate. When i create a key in the animation of the possition i want the anchor to be in after being drilled in the animation calculates and produces a red key. When i hover my mouse over the red key the position the anchor is meant to be in shows up. When i play the animation the anchor rotates the wrong way and incredibly slowly. i have tried deleting the part and that part of animation several times and it still isnt working. I cant think of anything that solidworks would have an issue with in regards to this animation, a simple screw mate animation?
PS. i have also tried without the screw mate and just creating keys for each rotation as it enters the ground. This worked but was not very good. the anchor was not going straight into the ground and jump from side to side as it went in.
Can you upload you assembly with one anchor which demonstrates the issue.
In case you've 2014, you can take advantage of rotation in exploded view. And then you can use the same to create the collapse in the animation.
