I was trying to figure out how to use add-ins for solidworks 2014 premium. Any help would be appreciated.
In the add-ins dropdown, select the ones you want to activate. You can choose to have them active for just your current session, or to have them active every time you fire up SolidWorks.
One thing to consider is that add-ins can create a performance hit, so only have the ones you need active unless you have an awesom computer.
I'm not sure if this is what Jeff is referring to when he mentioned the add-ins dropdown, but I always go to Tools > Add-Ins... and that brings up a window where you can choose which add-ins are currently active and which will automatically start with SW.
Yup, that's what I was referring to.
