Hello, I am relatively new to using SolidWorks, and I'm doing some work for a lab I'm working at. I'm trying to make some drawings of a mechanical hand, but the drawings for the thumb always overlap with the drawings for the wrist, and I was wondering if there is some way to bring the drawing of the thumb to the front of my drawing (without removing whole lines or hiding the entire wrist). Basically what I want is only the thumb to be visible ontop the wrist from the bottom view, and only the wrist to be visible ontop the thumb for the top view. I have attached a photo of the drawing so you can get an idea of what I'm talking about. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Why are you making parts as 2D drawings in a 3D program?
If you create the parts as 3D solids, what you want will happen automatically when pulling views into the 2D drawing.
