Hello. i want add second body to this one but then i try use projection to start new surface projection future dont work ( i cant add more like one surface for projection of skecth )
I think you are probably missing the small face in between those two:
If you select that face also then the projection should work.
I do not understand what you are trying to do. It sounds like you want to create a new surface and then project a sketch onto that surface? Can you post a screenshot of your attempt that is not working? Or give more detail of what surface you want to create and what sketch you want to project?
then i selecting second surfaces ...
Or extrude skecth like this to the spline like on the first picture, i meen i want add bar on the front of casing
It might not give you exactly what you want but one method you can try is to make a surface body by extruding the spline. Then you can do the cut extrude up to that surface. I suggest you modify your spline sketch to remove everything but the spline, remove the radii too, and extend the spline past the limits of the extrude sketch. Then after you extrude up to the surface you can add fillets.
i am trying with cut-extrude but no option with up to surface
also trying with extrude surface but cant did it up to surface
Make sure the spline extends all the way up to (or past) the extents of the cut extrude sketch as shown below.
Then also make sure the surface extrude goes past the entire cut sketch.
After that you should be able to cut extrude up to the surface.
Then you can hide or delete the surface.
so after this need hide spline surfase?
can effect this later for machining?
You can hide it or even better do Delete Body of the surface body. Then it will be removed and definitely not affect later operations or machining.
i am just self learning and you very healpful
i start second surface and spend one day and cant found nothing with goole
what way to do shell for surface body?
and cant made filled angles-corners
I think you are trying to add thickness to the surface bodies? The way to do that is with the Thicken command.
Before you do that, I think you'll want to edit the DeleteFace15 and add 2 more faces to the selection:
Then do a Knit Surface to combine the two surface bodies into one. After that you can do the thicken command and it will add thickness to the surface, and you can choose the direction (inward, outward, middle).
The last step would be to combine (add) the solid body with the rest of the part. If the combine fails, you might need to adjust the sketch from Surface-Extrude2 to make it overlap onto the part a little bit. Once it is all a solid body you can add fillets or whatever else you need.
Thanks a lot mate
i am looking for second solution
possible extrude skecth to the spline like at the last picture?
at this moment extrude just in depth
See my instructions above. From your latest file you just need to extend the spline on the bottom to reach the bottom tip of the cut extrude sketch. See the attached file.
cant open this file, mate
