the title says it all
52 looks right
53 looks not so right
On 53, if you will edit the Sweep, expand Start/End Tangency, and change both options to "None", the sweep works as expected. I don't know why they don't default to that.
Well that does work but, , the setting were the same on 52 with the Start/End Tangency both set to Path Tangent and it works fine. Guess I need to go back and read up on the details of this Start/End Tangency option. Unless somebody knows what the difference is and why SolidWorks reacts one way one time and makes me want to pull every last hair out my head others.
Glenn as soon as I can figue out this difference I will give you a Correct Answer credit, if indeed it turns out that it is just a fluke that the 52 worked. None the less at least I learned a new thing to try next time. You certainly get a pat on the back for that one.
I don't use Sweeps very often, so I won't even begin to guess at why it behaves that way, but you're not alone. Someone else had a similar issue a couple of weeks ago and I stumbled onto the answer: https://forum.solidworks.com/message/436294#436294.
