I am creating an animation of something getting drilled into the ground. Is there a way to replicate ground in solidworks? I am animating leg posts getting drilled into the ground.
Thanks for the help in advance
hei'ya Daniel, grassish?
see att.prt file- matl..Thornel Mat VMA-custom colour green
rendering might need a bit of tweaking
hope this of some help- have a good'n kelef
Could you use a texture or do you need to render the ground in 3d?
It needs to be rendered. I am creating an animated tutorial and for asthetic purposes the ground would need to be rendered. Either grass or dirt, just something to replicate the ground.
i was thinking of just making a big flat square shape and maybe putting a dirt appearance on it? dont know if there is a better way to do it though?
Thanks Kelif that should do the trick.. Legend
hei'ya Daniel, glad to help dude,
but it is a material setting not appearance-
try the att-prt file if you want a bit of contour
have a good'n kelef
Thanks again Kelif, your a legend! only problem is when i go to render a 30 sec long clip at 25 fps it takes hours to render haha! time to upgrade PC
