Hello,

Hello,

Make sure that you have write access to c drive and it's folders.
If still facing issue then copy the folder to a different drive and map that path locations under tools > options > file locations > weldment profile. When you do this then make sure to follow the folder structure. Check the help files for details. I'm very far away from SW and won't be able to give you exact detail.
John,
Unless I misunderstood you, it's easy enough.
Any particular design constraints we should be aware of?
Any particular reason why all the surface features?
As a rule I try to 'design' anything as simple as possible, with as few a features as possible.
It is similar to the one you answered the last time for me (2 way right angled pipe part) but now it is in a 3 way right angled form. I want to make a 3 way pipe using the thickening feature once I fillet the sharpened corner. The thickness should be 1/8'' and the diameters should be 1.5''. The length of the pipes are still tentative. Thank you so much for your help by the way as I'm still learning solidworks! In the end, I will 3d print this out. Any ideas so far?
John,
I take it you have SW2014, if so then look at the attached file, something I quickly made this morning without the use of weldements.
Length of the legs can be adjusted by the dimension in 3Dsketch1
The measurements of the pipe can be adjusted by changing the values of the D1@Sketch1 and D2@Sketch1.
Weldements are however something you should look into. It has great tools and makes it easier for stuff like this.
Also, you are not constricted to the weldements provided but you can make your own. Even youtube has lots of videos to help you.
Peter
Sorry, no 13 version available
