Folks,
When I generate a mirrored part by selecting a plane within a part, and then selecting Insert/Mirror Part, my default templates are not being used, I only have one pointer in the file locations for documents, which is located on our server.
I haven't seen this in awhile, it used to pick up are default templates when I mirrored parts.
Anyu ideas what I am not doing correctly?

I can't seem to remember any other option/reason for it. Is this a specific file??
Any parts that i mirror, I will delete the registry to see if that is the issue, always hate having to do that, but.....
Try restarting the SW or system and check again. BTW if it is not picking the default template then which template it is picking??
I am not sure what template it is picking, but have already tried restarting, do that twice daily minimum
Can you compare the template path in both location i.e. under File Location > Template and under Default Templates
both the same, had checked that,

SO I renamed my registery and started new, now the mirror part works as intended and does use our default templates.
BTW, I am the Admin here as well as the focused support and trouble shooter, as well as the main design support on projects so I am not new to this, but still annoying that this file gets cafluueed (technical term ) so often that I tend to recreate my settings at least twice a year. and ALWAYS on updating to new versions, which we will be doing in short order.

Thanks for sharing that. If resetting the registry work then it must be some options which needs to be checked. Please report this your VAR to get the real cause/solution for it.
Perhaps, but doubt it, checked everything, may contact VAR, but used to work for them and the folks they have their haven't done as much trouble shooting as I have, although they do have direct contact to SW troubleshooters, not that they are always helpful either...typical support issues for all software not just SW

Interesting, since I started a new registry, then deleted that and renamed the old registry back, my mirrored parts now work as expected...crazy, just a for what it's worth

Do you've the template path set under Tools > Options > Default Templates. If yes then make sure "Always use these default document templates" is selected.
