I am trying to render a part. But what I would like to know is that when you zoom the part in and out the enviroment zooms in and out too.
Is there anyway you can zoom just the back ground in and out but leave the part in it's place? The reason for this is that the enviroment isn't very defined.

I was wrong, can't find scaling. Have you tried changing the background option to enviroment?
Yes, I already had that on. Trouble is I am trying to put a fairly small part on some grass. But with the part zoomed in the grass looks distorted / not defined like the original.
Almost sounds like you need to find a new background image to use, or change the resolution of the current one you're using with gimp/photoshop?
Well I tried downloading loads of background images small and big resolution and tried them. But I always seemed to come up with the same problem.

You can make some adjustment if you turn on perspective (if not already) and modify the degree of perspective downward.

Hi Dwight, I had the perspective turned on. Do you mean rotate the angle of the part? if not is there some adjustment I need to make?
Note: I did not know that you have to create geometry before you can modify the perspective.
Add a camera feature.
Then you can adjust the field of view to make only the part of the environment visible that you need/want...and dolly the camera in/out to frame the part at the correct scale.

I believe you can scale the background, should give you what you need.
