I've copied the following folders to a shared network drive
so allusers will have access:
\SoliWorks\data
\Solidworks\lang\english
\Common files\SolidWorks Data
\Common Files\Solidworks shared
Is it best to leave the path to these original folders in theSLDREG file when I add the new network folder paths?
Won't it just search everything? Or will it stop when it findsSOMETHING?
Can I control the order it checks the search paths?
Would i need to delete those original folders off each user harddrive, or not if the path doesn't look there?

In menu Tools/Options/System settings\File Location you canspecify all the path for your shared folders and the order of pathsin the list for each file type is the searching order.
For toolbox you must modify on each user computer the"toolbox.ini" file (Program Files\Solidworks\Toolbox\)and specify the location of "Solidworks Data"folder.
It's better to map a drive letter for the location sharedfolder.
