Some views are missing when we save as edrw

Hello,

My coworker and I are both stumped. We routinely use edrw to save our models out to the network for the machine shop. One one particular assembly model, some of the views are missing. All the balloons are there, but a couple of the images are missing, and only on sheets 1 & 2; the front model sheet is fine. Also the drawing looks perfectly fine in SolidWorks. We have tried fully resolving the model as suggested by the help file, and also forcing a rebuild. What else should we try?

We are on SW2013 sp 3.0 and EDrawings 2013.

OK, are you saving edrawing files from SW or do you open the files in edrawings and then save them as required.

If you're using SW to make edrawings, then can you try opening the files in edrawings and then saving out from there.

If you're using SW to make edrawings, then can you try opening the files in edrawings and then saving out from there.

Yes we save as edrawing from SW. I did try opening the file in edrawings and was able to save it out from there with the views, so thank you for that part. However this is not a complete fix as measuring is disabled this way. What else can we do to determine what went wrong?

Do you have edrawing Pro version. If yes then you can enable measure during save as.

Does the assembly drawings are shaded views which are missing out? If yes then make sure you've

Save shaded data in drawings (drawings only) selected in the edrawings options (click on options when you saveas edrawings)

and also select Save tessellated data for drawings with shaded and draft quality views under Tools > Options > Drawings

If these don't help out then please report to your VAR since this is a file specific issue.

No we do not have edrawing Pro version.

And no we do not use shaded views.
