I am trying to open assemblies created in Creo 2.0 into Solidworks 2014 SP3 with some strange errors. Does anyone know if the latest version of Solidworks is supposed to be able to convert from Creo 2.0?

Hi,
Happen to be on 2014 SP2.0 and having same issues and have over 4700 files and assemblies we need to deal with here. Any word on if Dassault Systems is working towards a fix soon?
Cheerz..
So, SW2014 SP4 doesn't allow import of Creo 2.0 files either,,,nice, gotta love PTC how they like to roadblock

Agreed, and I can certainly understand that it takes time for translators to be able to import "other" CAD files are not straight forward or even easy since the other CAD systems may intentionally block the reading capability to some degree, but, when multiCAD platforms are a main staple in your environment, not having the ability to open any version of another CAD system is problematic. Of course I am not entirely sure of how the programming translations are accomplished, it is easy for me to.....evaluate from a 10,000 ft view
