how can I set up my part and assy templates so that any new configurations are automatically populated with certain configuraion specific properties? primarily I would like the property weight to automatically populate and be filled in with "sw-mass". this would allow my epdm data card to have the weight variable filled in for all configurations automatically.
If you go to File->Properties, there should be a "Configuration Specific" tab. I believe if you add the property "Weight" and make its value "SW-Mass", it should evaluate as the mass for each configuration. Do that in your part/assembly templates and the custom property will be added to every new file made from that template. At least, that's my understanding of how the Configuration Specific properties work.
how did i not attempt that before. this works because all configurations created are based off of the active configuration at the time.

We are able to display moment of inertia take at Center of Mass.
Is it possible to display inertia Ixx taken output assembly?
