Hi guys,
As a completely native SolidWorks user (i.e. have never used autocad) I'm a bit befuddled by the Printing/Plotting management of SolidWorks Electrical.
Currently I employ a system where I keep track of the colours that I use, I then go into the Plot styles editor and adjust the thicknesses manually. This is a pretty inelegant solution, I admit. Is there a way that I can set the thicknesses of lines and wires somewhere more central?
I'm aware of layers, and have used them when creating SolidWorks drawings before, but not in SolidWorks Electrical.
How do you guys manage line thicknesses?
Cheers,
Julz
I just learned this the other day - SWE rep learned completely by accident - Draw your cables, how you want them - then draw a random line - Right click on it, go to the 'properties' window - don't close out, but click on the line you want to change thickness - then edit the line thickness according to your preference,
Or did you want every line the same? I don't have a solution for that.
