Save as deformed shape does not save the deformed shape

Title explains it. I tried making sure the deformed plot was visible, and without. Tried various deformation scales. Saving as separate file, but when I open it it is always the undeformed shape. I know because I have an interference fit I am checking and when I look at the resulting surface (which is a diameter), the measure command will give me a diameter when I select that cylindrical surface. I know it shouldn't give me one because that surface is no longer cylindrical after the analysis. I also did various planes with intersection curves on that surface and they all provide the same result, not anything like I am expecting. And yes, there actually is interference in the analysis and the results do show that (stress and displacement-wise.)

This should be really simple; anyone know why it's not working?
