That may just be a side effect of using the large text. The user interface is designed around using the default text size, and switching to the larger text size requires things to move "out of place" to accomodate the larger text.
I seem to remember having the interface look similar to this when testing out the "environments" feature in the 2014 beta.
Thanks for your suggestion. But if we are using default text, the command can't be read because very small.

This is a known issue that SolidWorks is working on. I don't have a very high resolution display so I haven't seen the problem, nor can I remember what phrase you would want to search on to find the other threads where it is discussed. Try "Retina" or "high resolution display".
I have been reporting user interface problems with fonts for 1.5 year now.
The fonts are far too small on modern high resolution monitors.
You can change Windows OS scaling to increase the size but then
you will have problems with visability of dimensions and property
managers. Even the latest SP3 SW2014 did not fix the problems
