I've had this happen before, but since my computer has just been re-imaged, I can't locate a couple of items. Here is the issue: When I have my cursor in the Feature Manager tree area, the Spase mouse takes over and moves things around. I've looked all over through the Options, but I can't find the dang box to check (or uncheck). I also can't locate the tooltips for the 3D controller. As you can tell, I'm a user - not a SolidWorks guru.
Can anyone help me?
I've continued to dig deeper and deeper. I believe that the drivers loaded are incorrect. I found that in the SpaceExplorer Manual they show a tab for "Other Options", mine does not show that as an option. Within this screen there should be a tick box for the Scroll Tree Views - I just have to get the correct drivers I think. Unfortunately, Engineering is not allowed to dowload any drivers, so I have to wait for IT support to hack around and try fix the situation.
Welcome to the forum. The folks that make the 3d mice have recently done a major overhaul on the way they work. See this discussion: https://forum.solidworks.com/message/416951#416951. Mine is also affecting the tree, and I'm pretty sure it started at the same time. I've just learned to live with it, but I've kind of gotten used to it and I've not taken the time to look into it. When I was having the issue I discussed in the link I talked with a customer service rep from 3dConnexion and she was very helpful. You might give that a try.
