We are experiencing a long delay when isolating components within a assemply in Solidwork 2013 SP3.0. Has anyone else experienced this issue?
Have you checked the Transition speed settings in the Options > System Options > View ?
Yes, I have tried that, but it doesn't seem to have any effect on the issue. We are using the two available drivers on the Solidworks Certified Drivers site for the ATI FIrePro V5900 card, and I have also tried the latest driver from AMD's website with the same results. When repeating the isolate on the same assembly and the same components using the certified drivers with ATI FirePro w7000, I have the same issue, but I do not have the issue when using a FirePro V4900 or a Quadro 4000, there is no delay. I have tried multiple assemblies, have tried reinstalling drivers, user profiles, clean installs, etc. to no avail. It seems to be directly related to the Graphics Card. Is there anyone else out there with a FirePro V5900 that can verify the issue?
A better explanation of the issue is that when you try to isolate components within a assembly in solidworks 2014, there is a significant delay that did not exist in previous versions of solidworks. This has been noticed by all of our designers that are using either the ATI FirePro v5900 or ATI FIrePro W7000. Yes, we are using the certified drivers off the Solidworks site and I have tried both.
