Could be a CPU over heat problem. Assuming the processor heat-sink etc was specified and installed correctly... get a bigger fan?
I don't know if you are posing a question or a statement?
Is your question whether it is a software or hardware question?
If it happened one time, I'd guess hardware and random.
If it keeps happening, is still guess hardware but get your reseller to check on their system.
If it works on theirs, time to troubleshoot your system.
My question is whether one time of blue screen during calculation can screw up my solidworks flowsim system.
Because I've experienced some error after such things happened.
Inevitably there are some reboot and blue screen when setting overclocking PC.
I think that this can corrupt only current file and simulation study. Sometimes you will need to create new study.
Possibility of corrupting a file? Sure.
More likely if you continue to have problems, your hardware profile or is profile is causing you problems and the events aren't connected.
