OK, Worked this out for myself. So for the benifit of others, this is how you fix the problem.
go to you feature tree and right click on your drawing sheet and go to properties.
in the properties at the bottom left side there is a dropdown that will have defaulted to default.
select the view you want to use in that dropdown (or drop up in my case).
then click OK and it should automatically update. if not a Ctrl + Q will fix it.
in my case, using EPDM, there were a couple of files that were "not in the vault", or local files, so these files didn't have the info in them that i needed to update which caused another bit of a head scratch. so just pick another view or add the file to the vault and you should be laughing.
hope that helps someone at some point.
You can achieve the same by right clicking anywhere on the sheet and select properties. Was about to post the reply but glad you already did that
In addition to clicking anywhere on a blank part of the sheet, as Deepak said, you can right-click on the sheet tab at the bottom of your screen to get that drop-down.
Thanks for the solution Josh,
We've been having the same problem. I didn't know that the solution was so simple.
Then why you never posted
Just watch out for this if you have any blocks or annotations with references to variables in the same drawing sheet. SW will also update all of those to the same drawing view for you as well.
lucky i do a thorough drafting check before send out my drawings.
