Hi,
I have tried modeling the attached part, and need both 45 deg. flanges to be the same
thickness (.09 in.) as the main body. The dimensions already given should remain
if possible. Any help will greatly appreciated.

I didn't open your model (still running SW2010 and I don't really have the time, anyway).
You might try building the part from 3 Planar Surfaces, Knit them together, and then Thicken to the right thickness. This is sometimes easier than trying to build the solid directly, where you end up with awkward pieces sticking out where they shouldn't.
If you don't want to deal with Surfaces and it is the little extraneous bits sticking through where they shouldn't, you can often use Delete Face with the Patch option to get rid of them. (Insert/Face/Delete is the path to the tool.)

I think for this particular part the sheet metal tools would be best. If you are willing to start over, you could do the first flat face as a single Base Flange/Tab, then use the Edge Flange tool to bring out each of the 45 degree faces (there's a box where you can specify the angle of the Edge Flange).

I was able to use Sheet Metal tools to build the model. Along the way I learned a lot so this worked well.
