Hey guys I am trying to learn motion study by myself. I am a university student. I am trying to get a result from the mass spring system. Normally the velocity graph must start from 0 increase to a value and then must end up in 0 again. This oscillation continues forever unless there is a damper or friction force in the system. However awkwardly in my system. lets say the natural spting length is 5 and i positioned my block to 10 metres away from the wall that the spring is connected. Block is moving horizontally. When motion starts its pulled by the spring into the wall and thats ok. But the problem is. when it comes near to the wall. it goes into the wall and continues to its action as there is no wall. Do you have any solution to this? thanks.
