I have an exploded view on a drawing, and I want to have a broken out section on that view. When I first create the BOS everything looks good and the view is still exploded. But if I click on the view and choose properties, even if I don't make any changes, if I OK out of the properties box then the view collapses. If I X out or hit Cancel then it stays exploded. It could have something to do with when I open the Properties dialogue the box for "Show in exploded state" is grayed out.

According to SW help file you should be allowed to have a BOS in an exploded view, they just say that you won't be able to collapse it. I am finding the opposite.

Anyone else have this problem or know of a solution? I guess one solution is to not open the properties dialogue but I wanted to change display states.
